It seems strange, considering that he has been one of Nintendo’s longest serving mascots,and in many ways, he’s been there from the start, playing a role in one the company’s first forays into the video game industry. When someone says, Nintendo, you’re likely to first think of the iconic Mario or perhaps Link, from The Legend of Zelda series, but hardly anyone mentions Donkey Kong.
